History of the BCT franchise
Since its beginning in 1975, BCT has remained a wholesale-only supplier to the trade. BCT was the first company to franchise the wholesale thermography concept and the first to provide overnight production and delivery of thermographed business cards.
BCT began satisfying the growing demands of the printing industry over
33
years ago, when founder Hank Johnson introduced a radical new approach. He promised to deliver high quality, black ink, thermographed business cards in just 24 hours!
This new wholesale only concept created a totally new way of doing business within our industry. Daily pick-up and delivery by one of BCT's employees meant retailers no longer had to rely on the mail or expensive courier services. And the 24 hour turnaround allowed the retailer to satisfy their customers' needs without the costly, unprofitable prospect of printing business cards inhouse.
BCT continues its tradition of service by committing to provide 24 hour service on black ink business cards the same way we did over
33
years ago. Today, BCT has expanded its products and services to provide a wide range of ink colours and stocks in just 24 to 48 hours.
BCT is a wholly owned subsidiary of BCT International, Inc.
BCT International, Inc. is publicly traded on the NASDAQ exchange under the symbol "BCTI".
First established in 1987, BCT Kitchener quickly earned a reputation for quality and service. We have grown to cover a territory ranging from Windsor to Barrie. BCT experienced a change of ownership in 1998, bringing new management dedicated to preserving the high levels of customer service and product excellence earned over the last
21
years, as well as introducing fresh ideas and new technology into BCT.
